A Geico 'Shop of the Month' must meet rigorous criteria making the designation very difficult to achieve. The awarded shop must have competitive low average estimate and a fast repair time. October 3, 2018 - The Woodlands
Steve Guinn, president/CEO of Hodges Collision Center announced that Chris Ryland was named Location Manager of the HWY 249/1960 West shop in Tomball. Chris brings a great deal of experience to Hodges Collision and has been in the auto body collision business for over 20 years. He is also an ICAR instructor and Chairs the Houston ICAR committee. Previously an EMT, he joined Hodges Collision Center in December 2017. "We are pleased to have Chris guiding our Hodges Collision Center in Tomball," noted Guinn. "He always says that 'he is here to empower his team to be the best that they can be' and that is the enthusiasm we look for in our management team. Our positive customer experiences grow out of our confident leadership. We are looking forward to working with Chris and his positive approach and experience." Growing up in the Houston area, Chris now lives in Waller County with his wife. He loves spending time with his children, a daughter at Sam Houston and a son at Blinn. And his face lights up when he mentions being a grandpa! He is definitely a family man and readily admits that he 'works for them.' He is also an avid hunter, competitive shooter and enjoys grilling and barbequing.
August 3, 2018 -- The Woodlands, Texas
Steve Guinn, president/CEO of Hodges Collision Center announced that Brandon Fisch was named Director of Operations in an ongoing effort to strengthen the Hodges Collision management team. Brandon joins Hodges Collision from Caliber Collision where he worked for 3 years. He made a major career change before working in the automotive collision industry; Brandon was a recognized chef, initially working in New York City where he was named a James Beard Finalist. Wanting to get back to Houston, he opened 'the burger guys' restaurants in Houston and was named the Youngest Chef by My Table Magazine's annual feature 'Best Chef in the City' category. Eventually closing the restaurants and wanting a more normal schedule to raise a family, Brandon said, "I always loved seeing the looks on our guest's faces when I presented a meal, and I realized that people have the same happy look when they see their previously damaged car, now in brand new condition. I love providing customers with a positive experience and Hodges Collision fits the bill. He continued, "I also believe strongly in the concept of Servant Leadership, where the leadership pyramid is flipped upside down so that the managers can better mentor and encourage their employees. It really has a positive effect on the organization." "We are so pleased to have Brandon in a leadership position at Hodges Collision Center, noted Guinn. Steve Guinn, president/CEO of Hodges Collision Center announced that Ryan Guinn was named Location Manager of the Rayford Road location in Spring. Ryan Guinn was raised in the business, and remembers sweeping floors and cleaning up the shop when he was in high school. After serving in the Navy, he worked for several years at Caliber Collision before rejoining the team at Hodges Collision Center. "We are so pleased to have Ryan in a leadership position at our Hodges Collision Center Rayford location," noted Guinn. "He brings valuable experience from the Navy as well as his experience at other shops, giving him a unique perspective of knowing what our Hodges customers expect. He will be instrumental in helping us grow that location as well as the company." Ryan continued, "My focus is on great customer service and we want to make it as smooth as possible for our clients to not only get the information they need, but to get accurate updates during the repair process." Born and raised in Spring Texas, Ryan is an avid golfer and loves sports. He currently resides in Spring.

Steve Guinn, president/CEO of Hodges Collision Center, took the opportunity to create more awareness about the challenges of children with autism when they recently hosted The Woodlands Area Chamber Business After Hours, and presented an unexpected donation of $10,000 to benefit the Texas Autism Academy. The Texas Autism Academy, located in The Woodlands/South Montgomery County, is a private school dedicated to providing a unique educational plan for children diagnosed with Autism. The academy opened in September of 2017. "Texas Autism Academy is close to Deborah and my hearts because our beautiful grandson faces the challenges of autism, and we wished this academy had been here before they had to move north of Dallas to find a curriculum similar to the one used here," stated Steve Guinn during his presentation remarks. He continued, "Having visited the Academy and seen firsthand the tremendous impact they are having on their students, we would love to see this organization grow and flourish in order to be able to help more children. Hodges Collision Center is happy to make a donation of $10,000 to the Texas Autism Academy." December 11, 2017 -- The Woodlands, Texas
Steve Guinn, president/CEO of Hodges Collision Center, is pleased to announce the acquisition of their 5th location in Magnolia Texas. The formerly Signature Collision is now Hodges Collision Center Magnolia (#5). The new Hodges Collision Center, located at 32003 Nichols Sawmill Rd in Magnolia, is approximately an 18,000 square foot facility which will house an Enterprise Rent-A-Car location as well as insurance adjuster offices. Mike Wigginton, previously the Manager at the Rayford Road location was named manager of the new Magnolia facility. Mike joined Hodges Collision in 2015 with more than 20 years of automotive service industry experience, including managing large collision facilities. A smooth transition is in progress and the Magnolia location is open for business. "We are thrilled to be opening a location in the Magnolia area and we are proud to be a part of this community," noted Guinn. "Signature Collision has been in Magnolia for the past 10 years, and now we are excited to be operating as Hodges Collision and expanding our contribution to the economic growth in the area, and continuing to serve our customers like they expect. Our team is definitely looking forward to living and working in the neighborhood and getting involved in the community."

Steve Guinn, president/CEO of Hodges Collision Center announced that Matthew Guinn was named Manager of the Hwy 249/1960 West location in Tomball. "Matthew returned to a leadership position with us at Hodges Collision Center after a brief time away, noted Guinn. Working his way up at Hodges and his experience at other shops, has given him a great working knowledge of what Hodges customers expect. Since he worked with us before, customers still trust him to carry out our values of exceptional quality work and customer service." Matthew continued, Most shops just want to fix the car, but I want to fix the car and make sure the client is provided with the best customer service available in this industry. Getting in a collision is a very stressful inconvenience, and huge burden for someone to take on. Hodges is here make it as smooth as possible for our clients, with accurate updates during the repair process." Matthew Guinn returns to Hodges Collision Center after working for several years at Caliber Collision. His total tenure with Hodges is 11 years. An avid golfer, Matthew currently resides in Katy and enjoys spending time with family grilling on the weekends. He is also building his cigar collection with an interest in the wrappers and international brands.

Steve Guinn, president/CEO of Hodges Collision Center announced that Chuck Parlour was named Manager of the Lane Lane location. "We are excited that Chuck has returned to a leadership position with us at Hodges Collision Center after a brief time away," noted Guinn. "Chuck brings a wealth of management experience in our industry, and our customers trust him to carry out our values of exceptional quality work and customer service." Parlour returns to Hodges Collision Center after working for several years as a manager at Service King. He is a 22 year Army veteran and retired holding the rank of Major. He is a reservist and currently an active member of the local VFW. Parlour resides in the City of Oak Ridge and enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and grandchildren.

Steve Guinn announced that he is back as president/CEO of Hodges Collision Centers. After an almost two year hiatus Guinn is looking forward to picking up where he left off - expanding the company, engaging in community activities and reestablishing his long-term relationships. "I realized that I loved running Hodges, and I really enjoyed and missed interacting with everyone involved, from my employees, insurance agents, and customers, as well as, helping out with non-profits, noted Guinn. Sometimes you just need a break and some balance to realize what is important, what you love to do and why! I am so looking forward to growing Hodges and being out in the community again."
