Steve Guinn, president/CEO of Hodges Collision Centers surprised founders of Texas Autism Academy with a $10,000 donation during the recent Hodges Collision hosted Woodlands Area Chamber Business After Hours. The Texas Autism Academy, located in The Woodlands/South Montgomery County, is a private school dedicated to providing a unique educational plan for children diagnosed with Autism. The academy opened in September of 2017. "Deborah and I have a beautiful grandson who has autism, and we understand the challenges families face trying to find the right curriculum and setting for their child. Unfortunately, at that time our grandson and family had to move to Dallas to find a similar curriculum as the one used by Texas Autism Academy," noted Steve Guinn. He continued, "Hodges Collision is happy to make this donation of $10,000 to the Texas Autism Academy. We are excited to see their growth and the tremendous impact they are having on their students, and we would love to see this organization grow and flourish in order to be able to help more children in our area." Cary Leakey Mollinedo, president and one of the founders said, "We were so surprised and overwhelmed that Hodges Collision would be so generous as to donate another $10,000 to Texas Autism Academy this year. About Texas Autism Academy
Founded in 2017, Texas Autism Academy is a private school for children on the Autism Spectrum that incorporates the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) into their daily instruction and curriculum. They evaluate prospective students already diagnosed with Autism using ABA technology. A customized educational curriculum is then designed for each student admitted to the Academy. Currently student ages 4-12 in a part time or full day program are accommodated with future growth plans to include the entire K-12 grade range. Steve Guinn, president/CEO of Hodges Collision Centers announced that the Hodges Collision - Rayford Road location was recently named the prestigious Liberty Mutual Insurance 'Shop of the Year' 2019 for the State of Texas.
As a Liberty Mutual 'Shop of the Year' award winner, Hodges Collision competed against approximately 1,000 auto body shops in 24 states. They not only met rigorous criteria, but according to Liberty Mutual/Safeco, the Hodges' involvement in the community put them over the top. Hodges Collision is a supporter of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and many community non-profits such as Montgomery County Youth Services, Texas Autism Academy and PCI Ranch, as well as other local community events.
"We are so proud of co-managers Mike Wigginton and Chuck Parlour, and their team for achieving this amazing accomplishment and recognition," noted Guinn. "This award especially means a lot to me, as I have always strived to give back to the communities that have been so good to us. Steve Guinn, President/CEO of The Woodlands based Hodges Collision Centers announced that the company has expanded to Deer Park with the acquisition of Crossroad Collision Center. With this new location of Hodges Collision Deer Park, the company continues to serve customers as the largest independent body shop in the Houston area with 6 locations.
Michael Cheatum was named the new Hodges Collision Deer Park Location Manager at this 20,000 sq.ft. facility located at 306 Center St., Deer Park, TX 77536. A Geico 'Shop of the Month' must meet rigorous criteria making the designation very difficult to achieve. The awarded shop must have competitive low average estimate and a fast repair time. Steve Guinn, president/CEO of Hodges Collision Center announced that Brandon Fisch was named Director of Operations in an ongoing effort to strengthen the Hodges Collision management team. Brandon joins Hodges Collision from Caliber Collision where he worked for 3 years. He made a major career change before working in the automotive collision industry; Brandon was a recognized chef, initially working in New York City where he was named a James Beard Finalist. Wanting to get back to Houston, he opened 'the burger guys' restaurants in Houston and was named the Youngest Chef by My Table Magazine's annual feature 'Best Chef in the City' category. Eventually closing the restaurants and wanting a more normal schedule to raise a family, Brandon said, "I always loved seeing the looks on our guest's faces when I presented a meal, and I realized that people have the same happy look when they see their previously damaged car, now in brand new condition. I love providing customers with a positive experience and Hodges Collision fits the bill. He continued, "I also believe strongly in the concept of Servant Leadership, where the leadership pyramid is flipped upside down so that the managers can better mentor and encourage their employees. It really has a positive effect on the organization." "We are so pleased to have Brandon in a leadership position at Hodges Collision Center, noted Guinn. His management style and experience is so valuable to us and his belief in Servant Leadership has had a positive impact on our team. Steve Guinn, president/CEO of Hodges Collision Center announced that Ryan Guinn was named Location Manager of the Rayford Road location in Spring. Ryan Guinn was raised in the business, and remembers sweeping floors and cleaning up the shop when he was in high school. After serving in the Navy, he worked for several years at Caliber Collision before rejoining the team at Hodges Collision Center. "We are so pleased to have Ryan in a leadership position at our Hodges Collision Center Rayford location," noted Guinn. "He brings valuable experience from the Navy as well as his experience at other shops, giving him a unique perspective of knowing what our Hodges customers expect. He will be instrumental in helping us grow that location as well as the company." Ryan continued, "My focus is on great customer service and we want to make it as smooth as possible for our clients to not only get the information they need, but to get accurate updates during the repair process." Steve Guinn, president/CEO of Hodges Collision Center, is pleased to announce the acquisition of their 5th location in Magnolia Texas. The formerly Signature Collision is now Hodges Collision Center Magnolia (#5). The new Hodges Collision Center, located at 32003 Nichols Sawmill Rd in Magnolia, is approximately an 18,000 square foot facility which will house an Enterprise Rent-A-Car location as well as insurance adjuster offices. Mike Wigginton, previously the Manager at the Rayford Road location was named manager of the new Magnolia facility. Mike joined Hodges Collision in 2015 with more than 20 years of automotive service industry experience, including managing large collision facilities. A smooth transition is in progress and the Magnolia location is open for business. "We are thrilled to be opening a location in the Magnolia area and we are proud to be a part of this community," noted Guinn. "Signature Collision has been in Magnolia for the past 10 years, and now we are excited to be operating as Hodges Collision and expanding our contribution to the economic growth in the area, and continuing to serve our customers like they expect. Steve Guinn, president/CEO of Hodges Collision Center announced that Chuck Parlour was named Manager of the Lane Lane location. "We are excited that Chuck has returned to a leadership position with us at Hodges Collision Center after a brief time away," noted Guinn. "Chuck brings a wealth of management experience in our industry, and our customers trust him to carry out our values of exceptional quality work and customer service." Parlour returns to Hodges Collision Center after working for several years as a manager at Service King. He is a 22 year Army veteran and retired holding the rank of Major. He is a reservist and currently an active member of the local VFW. Parlour resides in the City of Oak Ridge and enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and grandchildren.

Steve Guinn announced that he is back as president/CEO of Hodges Collision Centers. After an almost two year hiatus Guinn is looking forward to picking up where he left off - expanding the company, engaging in community activities and reestablishing his long-term relationships. "I realized that I loved running Hodges, and I really enjoyed and missed interacting with everyone involved, from my employees, insurance agents, and customers, as well as, helping out with non-profits, noted Guinn.
